Borut Jamnik, Chairman of the Management Board
Following his graduation at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology at the University of Ljubljana, Borut Jamnik began working at the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Restructuring and Privatization, where he first completed an internship and later headed the ownership transformation of companies. In 1999 he began working at Kapitalska družba, initially taking over the management of the IT department and later assuming the functions of Director the Information Technology and Analysis Department and Deputy-Chairman of the Management Board of the company. During his employment at Kapitalska družba, he managed projects involving the establishment of information and analytical infrastructure, participated in the establishment of the First Pension Fund (PPS) and was a member of the group at the Ministry of Finance involved in the preparation of executive acts pursuant to the First Pension Fund of the Republic of Slovenia and Transformation of Authorized Investment Corporations Act (ZPSPID) which defines the basic legal environment of the operations of PPS. Mr. Jamnik was the Chairman of the Management Board of Kapitalska družba from 2003 to 2005. He has participated in all projects where Kapitalska družba acted as a transitional manager or banking-type financial intermediary and manager of mutual pension funds.
He was responsible for the areas of finance, controlling, procurement and management of the companies in the group at the company Hit, d. d. in 2003 and later in the period 2005 – 2006 as a member of the Management Board. He headed a project involving the merger of two hotel companies and negotiations with a foreign strategic partner. He performed the tasks of a Management Board member at Probanka up to his appointment as Chairman of the Management Board of Kapitalska družba.
Anja Strojin Štampar, M.Sc., Member of the Management Board
Following her graduation at the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana, Anja Strojin Štampar continued her postgraduate studies in law, in the field of international economic law. She completed her postgraduate studies in Canada, receiving a Master’s degree in 2002. She also graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana, obtaining the title of Bachelor of Arts in French and General Linguistics.
After completing her postgraduate studies, Anja Strojin Štampar obtained employment at Kapitalska družba as an independent legal consultant, later becoming the head of the legal department. During this period, she acquired knowledge and experience in the area of general company operations, mutual pension funds management, status law, securities law, public tenders and labour law. She participated in the establishment of the Closed Mutual Pension Fund for Civil Servants (ZVPSJU). Between November 2007 and March 2009, she managed the department for international and economic law at the Miro Senica in odvetniki law firm; up to her appointment as a member of the Management Board of Kapitalska družba, she was employed as an attorney and partner at the Štampar Strojin in partner law firm.
Anja Strojin Štampar, MSc is the author of numerous professional contributions and a lecturer at professional seminars. She received the title of court interpreter for the English language in 2007.
Bachtiar Djalil, Member of the Management Board
After completing his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana, he continued his study path by enrolling on a postgraduate study programme on European Law at the University of Groningen, obtaining the title of Master of Laws in European Law.
His first employment (in 1999) was at NLB, in the area of capital investment management. After getting his Master’s degree, he took up a position at the Competition Protection Office of the Republic of Slovenia, where he also spent time working as its representative at the Merger Task Force of the European Commission. In July 2002, he resumed his professional career at NLB, namely in Capital Investment Management and Control, where he also participated in the establishment of the company NLB Skladi, d.o.o. In January 2004, he became Head of the Legal Affairs Office at NLB Skladi. He was a Member of the Management Board from July 2007, until taking up a position at Kapitalska družba.
He has been a part of expert groups that worked on preparing or changing regulations in the area of takeovers, the prohibition of restriction of competition, investment funds, and management companies. He is also a member of the Management Board of the Slovenian Investment Fund Association (ZDU).
